De La Soul Announces Rare ‘Clear Lake Auditorium’ EP Reissue
A Tribe Called Quest, The Fearless Four, Grandmaster Caz and Prince Whipper Whip appear on the 1994 promotional EP.

De La Soul will officially release their 1994 promotional EP, Clear Lake Auditorium, in digital and physical formats on March 7. The influential hip-hop group also announced a collection of remixes of their standout song, “Say No Go.”
Originally issued in a limited pressing of 500 copies, Clear Lake Auditorium was distributed to exclusively selected DJs as part of the promotion of De La Soul’s third album, 1993’s Buhloone Mindstate.
Four tracks on Clear Lake Auditorium come from Buhloone Mindstate, “In the Woods” featuring Shortie No Mass, “I Am I Be” featuring Maceo Parker, Fred Wesley and Pee Wee Ellis, “Patti Dooke” featuring Guru, Parker, Wesley and Ellis and “I Be Blowin’” featuring Parker. The EP also features the tracks “sh.Fe.Mc’s” featuring A Tribe Called Quest and “Stix & Stonz” featuring The Fearless Four, Grandmaster Caz and Prince Whipper Whip.

Additionally, on February 6, De La Soul will release a collection of remastered remixes of their song “Say No Go” from their 1989 debut album, 3 Feet High And Rising. The set includes the original “Say No Go” version with a series of remixes, “House of Love,” “New Keys Vocal,” and “Say No Dope Mix.”
