Dawes’ Taylor Goldsmith Performs ‘Christmas In L.A.’

Taylor Goldsmith of Dawes offered a solo acoustic performance of the holiday song “Christmas In L.A.” on the band’s YouTube channel. Goldsmith wrote “Christmas In L.A.” with Brandon Flowers of The Killers.
The Killers recorded “Christmas In L.A.” with Dawes for their 2013 Christmas song. Proceeds from the single went towards AIDS charities via Product Red.

“I’ve only ever lived in LA, but I’ve had some Christmases in different places,” wrote Taylor in a note shared with the video. “Not this year! So this song has ended up feeling truer than it did before. Wrote it with Brandon from The Killers a few years ago. Hope you enjoy this performance by me and my forehead.”
