Dawes Announces Headlining Summer Tour

Los Angeles-based rock band Dawes has revealed details of their upcoming headlining Summer Tour. The group has tapped a number of supporting acts for the shows taking place this July.
Dawes will be joined at various dates by openers The Lone Bellow, Matthew Logan Vasquez (of Delta Spirit and Middle Brother) and Kathleen Edwards. The run kicks off Sunday, July 3 at the Waterside Theatre in Manteo, North Carolina and continues throughout the month with stops in Ohio, Virginia, Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Maryland also planned.
The July 12 Portland, Maine show is a co-headlining bill with Dawes and Shakey Graves and the July 22 Canandaigua, New York show at Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center and the July 23 Columbia, Maryland show at Merriweather Post Pavilion will feature Dawes supporting Brandi Carlile and Old Crow Medicine Show. Additionally, the band has a number of shows set supporting Alabama Shakes in August.
Frontman Taylor Goldsmith will appear with his Middle Brother side-project at the Newport Folk Festival on July 24. Dawes will make festival stops at Red Wing Roots Music Festival, Green River Festival and the new Vortex Festival.
A new Dawes album is currently in the works, and the follow-up to 2015’s All Your Favorite Bands is slated to be released before the end of the year on the band’s HUB Records label. Right now Dawes in the midst of a run of shows throughout the month of April with Hiss Golden Messenger.
