David Gilmour Shares ‘Time’/’Breathe’ Excerpt From ‘Live At Pompeii’

On September 13 the concert film David Gilmour: Live At Pompeii will be shown in more than 2,000 cinemas around the world (participating theaters are listed here) ahead of its release on DVD/Blu-Ray on September 29. The Pink Floyd guitarist recently shared a clip from the film featuring a portion of “Time”/”Breathe” off Dark Side Of The Moon.

The 148-minute concert film, which was culled from two 2016 concerts at the historic site, was directed and shot in 4K by Gavin Elder. David Gilmour: Live At Pompeii’s DVD/Blu-Ray package will include a seven-minute companion documentary by Elder entitled Pompeii Then And Now. Those purchasing the Deluxe Blu-Ray box set will also get to watch an additional 207 minutes of bonus footage culled from 11 live performances and five documentaries.
