David Byrne appeared on CBS Sunday Morning. The profile focused on the Talking Heads’ co-founder’s Broadway production, American Utopia.

Byrne developed the stage version of American Utopia from the innovative tour he presented in support of the 2018 solo album of the same name. Interviewer Serena Altschul talked to Byrne about the production and how he has evolved as a collaborator since his time in Talking Heads. Byrne also talked about his childhood move from Scotland to the United States and his recent decision to become a U.S citizen following a dubious voting record.
