David Byrne To Appear On ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert’

David Byrne will issue American Utopia, his first album of all-new solo material in 14 years, on Friday. Byrne will celebrate the release by appearing on Friday night’s installment of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

While David Byrne performed on the host’s Colbert Report program, this will be his first time on The Late Show during the Stephen Colbert era. Byrne kicked off a solo tour that is expected to last until October on Saturday night in Red Bank, New Jersey. Head here for a full report from opening night.
