The concert film David Byrne‘s American Utopia will be screened at movie theaters nationwide on Wednesday, September 15. The special, one-night-only theatrical event will include an introduction from the Talking Heads frontman along with a previously unreleased chat featuring Byrne and American Utopia director Spike Lee.

The Lee-directed American Utopia premiered last September at the Toronto International Film Festival. HBO made the film available for streaming on its HBO Max service on October 17, 2020. Iconic Events Releasing, Participant, River Road Entertainment, Warner Music Entertainment and HBO Entertainment are bringing the movie to theaters.
