Dave Matthews Performs ‘So Damn Lucky’ For SiriusXM

SiriusXM uploaded video featuring Dave Matthews‘ performance of “So Damn Lucky” to YouTube. The solo version of “So Damn Lucky” was played solo by Dave on September 11, 2019 during an invitation-only show for SiriusXM subscribers held at “The Garage” studio/performance space in Los Angeles.

Dave opened the 15-song set with “So Damn Lucky,” a track Matthews originally released on his lone solo album, 2003’s Some Devil. Matthews debuted “So Damn Lucky” live during an ATO Records Showcase in Denver on August 6, 2003. It would take until May 27, 2007 for Dave to play the song at a Dave Matthews Band concert. However, Matthews performed “So Damn Lucky” solo that night. DMB finally unveiled the full-band version on May 30, 2008.
