Dave Matthews To Play Fundraiser For Dennis Kucinich

On April 20, Dave Matthews will play a fundraiser for Ohio gubernatorial Dennis Kucinich at The Agora in Cleveland. Matthews is expected to perform an acoustic set at the historic venue.

Kucinich and Matthews met at Farm Aid in 2003 and went on to collaborate on farmer-friendly initiatives such as regenerative agriculture and “carbon farming” as a climate change solution. Both men also traveled together to Standing Rock to show their support for efforts to stop the Dakota Access Pipeline.

Dave Matthews will lead the Dave Matthews Band on an extensive tour starting on May 18 at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, Texas. Tickets for the April 20th benefit go on sale via Kucinich’s website today (Friday, April 6) at 12 p.m. ET.
