Dave Matthews Band Welcomes John Popper In Michigan

The Dave Matthews Band took the world by storm shortly after the release of their catchy single “What Would You Say” which featured a guest appearance from Blues Traveler’s John Popper on harmonica. On Tuesday night Popper collaborated with his old friends for the first time in over 14 years according to Jambands.com’s report.

The Blues Traveler front man emerged towards the middle of DMB’s second set at DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan for an electric take on “What Would You Say.” Watch fan-shot video of the song thanks to Katherine Powers:
DTE Energy Music Theatre will host a one-off H.O.R.D.E. Festival stop on Friday night featuring Blues Traveler, 311, Big Head Todd & The Monsters and others. DMB’s Tuesday night show also saw guest appearances from the Lovely Ladies backing vocalists on “Everyday,” “Drunken Soldier” and a cover of Peter Gabriel’s “Sledgehammer.”
