It appears old pals Dave Matthews Band and Warren Haynes will team up for a concert at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on November 24 to raise funds for victims of Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton. Both acts shared clips on social media showing images of North Carolina and Florida — the two states most heavily impacted by the storms — on the roof of MSG with “11.24.24” displayed in the middle.

Asheville, North Carolina native Warren Haynes revealed last night that the Christmas Jam will not be held in 2024 due to Hurricane Helene. “Rebuilding will take time and collective effort. Unfortunately, holding a concert in Asheville this year isn’t possible, as resources are focused on emergency efforts. Christmas Jam 33 will take place in Asheville in 2025,” the benefit concert’s team wrote.

Haynes and the Christmas Jam’s note also included the words, “we know the people of Asheville, Western Carolina and everyone effected by Hurricane Helene as well as Hurricane Milton are in need of support and we are working on several initiatives including other benefit concerts in order to raise funds quickly.” Apparently, the potential MSG show is one of the “other benefit concerts” they are working on.

Dave Matthews Band is already planning to set up shop at The Garden on November 22 and 23 to end their upcoming fall tour. Haynes has made over 50 guest appearances with DMB including several at MSG. The Gov’t Mule frontman last joined the septet at Madison Square Garden in 2018.
