Dave Matthews Band continued their regular Labor Day Weekend three-night run at the Gorge Amphitheatre on Saturday. For the second show of the stand, the band welcomed guitarist Warren Haynes on Neil Young’s “Cortez The Killer.”
The set contained a number of classics including “So Much To Say,” “Too Much,” “Satellite,” “Bartender” and “Warehouse,” along with a cover of Peter Gabriel’s “Sledgehammer.” Matthews performed “Here On Out” solo, which was followed by the full band performing “The Song That Jane Likes.” The outing then turned to “Cortez The Killer,” which saw Tim Reynolds and Haynes trading licks. “Lover Lay Down,” “Shake Me Like a Monkey” and “Ants Marching” closed out the main set, while “Pig” and “Grey Street” were selected for the encore.
