Dave Matthews Band Selects Scranton 2010 Show For ‘Drive-In’ Broadcast
Dave Matthews Band announced their July 14, 2010 concert from Toyota Pavilion At Montage Mountain in Scranton, Pennsylvania for the next installment in their DMB Drive-In series. The show will air Wednesday, July 22 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
DMB’s 2010 show from Montage Mountain featured the first full-band “One Sweet World” with the instrumental intro since September 2003, according to DMB Almanac. The concert was also released as Vol. 22 in the band’s Live Trax series on June 12, 2012.
Music Health Alliance is the spotlight organization for the webcast. “As the impact of COVID-19 continues to unfold, Music Health Alliance will be here to serve the music community for the endurance of this public health crisis by providing basic life necessities like food, medicine and access to healthcare,” as per DMB.com. “Music Health Alliance is utilizing the same model that we use for healthcare access and navigation on a daily basis for our COVID-19 response. Music Health Alliance is also teaming up with Spotify’s COVID-19 Music Relief Project. “This partnership will enable Music Health Alliance’s COVID-19 Relief Resources to provide immediate critical assistance to music industry professionals who have been deeply affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.” Spotify will match donations to Music Health Alliance dollar for dollar up to $10 million.
