Dave Matthews Band Unvaults 2023 Show With Chuck Leavell For ‘Live Trax Vol. 71’

Dave Matthews Band announced Live Trax Vol. 71, a show featuring a sit-in from legendary rock keyboardist Chuck Leavell, arriving on October 24. The concert took place at Ameris Bank Amphitheatre in Alpharetta, Georgia near Atlanta on July 25, 2023.

Chuck Leavell has played keyboards with two of the most iconic groups in rock, The Allman Brothers Band and The Rolling Stones. Leavell resides near Macon, Georgia and made the trip to Alpharetta’s Ameris Bank Amphitheatre to join Dave Matthews Band on the stop during their 2023 Summer Tour.

Joining DMB about halfway through the set, Chuck added to songs from both The Rolling Stones and The Allman Brothers Band catalogs, “Honky Tonk Women” and “Melissa,” respectively. Leavell also played on the DMB original, “Grace Is Gone.”

Additional highlights from the show included a rare “Spaceman” opener and a bust out of “Baby Blue.” The DMB website further detailed the concert:
