The Dave Matthews Band brought their 25th anniversary tour to Blossom Music Center near Cleveland on Saturday night, where they continued a trend of dusting off back catalog gems. Saturday’s DMB concert featured six tour debuts including an original they hadn’t performed in 100 shows.
“Crash Into Me” opened the action for DMB in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio last night marking the first time the song had kicked off a show since March 24, 2007. Up next was the evening’s initial tour debut, “Proudest Monkey.” A string of staples followed leading up to the return of “Stolen Away On 55th & 3rd” for the first time in 100 shows (September 5, 2014). Matthews and his mates kept the tour debuts coming with “So Damn Lucky,” “Pig” and “Drive In Drive Out.” One of the tour’s new originals, “Bob Law,” broke up the run of tour debuts ahead of the return of “Everyday” for its first performance of 2016. The Dave Matthews Band ended the night with a lengthy encore that included “Bismarck,” “So Much To Say,” “Tripping Billies” and “Warehouse.”
