Dave Matthews Band brought an extensive summer tour to a close at the historic Hollywood Bowl on Monday night. The septet was joined by multiple guests over the course of the evening including a string section and additional horns.

Last night’s show began with old favorite “One Sweet World” ahead of “That Girl Is You” from the band’s latest studio album Come Tomorrow. Classics “#41” and “Don’t Drink The Water” then led into a double dose of Come Tomorrow in the form of “Again & Again” and the live debut of “When I’m Weary.” The latter was performed just by Dave Matthews and keyboardist Mark Batson. Mark Batson was one of the producers who contributed to Come Tomorrow. Batson stuck around to add to the full-band rendition of “Louisiana Bayou.”

The concert rolled on with a cover of Peter Gabriel’s “Sledgehammer” and beloved gems “Crash Into Me” and “What Would You Say.” Dave was then aided by a string section for “Here On Out.” The rest of the band returned and was augmented by the strings for “Come On Come On” and “Squirm.” Last night’s “Squirm” also featured guest horns. The guest horns were also on hand for a typically extended “Jimi Thing” that as usual segued into a portion of Prince’s “Sexy M.F.” DMB ended the set without any guests on “Everyday,” “She” and “Ants Marching.”

Matthews & Co. opened the encore with tour staple “Samurai Cop (Oh Joy Begin).” DMB then said farewell with their own “Why I Am” as well as a cover of Bob Dylan’s “All Along The Watchtower.” Photographer Steve Rose was on hand at last night’s tour finale. Check out a full gallery of his work:
