Last night, Dave Matthews Band continued their Summer Tour by performing at Gexa Energy Pavilion in Dallas. For the second night in a row, DMB treated their Texas audience to a bust out of a long-shelved original.
Saturday’s show started with “The Song That Jane Likes” followed by “Big Eyed Fish” which moved into the recently debuted “Bismarck.” Setlist staple “Satellite” came next before frontman Dave Matthews led the group through the first performance of “Dive In” since he played it solo in May 2012 (300 shows ago) as well as the first full band rendition since September 2011.
The rest of the night included new songs “Samurai Cop” and “Bob Law” as well as the tour debuts of “Dancing Nancies,” “Corn Bread,” “So Much To Say” “Anyone Seen The Bridge,” and “Tripping Billies” as well as the first song of the three-song encore, “Digging A Ditch.” Below view audience-shot footage from Dallas.
