Dave Grohl & Greg Kurstin Recruit Judd Apatow For Festive Blood, Sweat & Tears Cover

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and producer/musician Greg Kurstin kicked off the 2022 edition of their “Hanukkah Sessions” video series with a Blood, Sweat & Tears cover sung by Judd Apatow. Switching up the format this year, Grohl and Kurstin recorded the eight songs with different special guests at a concert held on December 5 at Largo in Los Angeles.

Grohl and Kurstin debuted “The Hanukkah Sessions” with eight covers they shared over eight days in December 2020. The pair repeated a similar feat with the second installment of the series that returned in 2021. For the rest of the 2022 edition, special guests will include Beck, P!nk, Karen O, Tenacious D and others including Grohl’s daughter Violet Grohl.

Comedian/actor/producer/director Judd Apatow can add frontman to the slashes in front of his name after leading a spirited take on “Spinning Wheel” by Blood, Sweat & Tears while augmented by a horn section. Watch how that went down at Largo below:
