Darkside shared a new single, “Are You Tired? (Keep On Singing).” The track is set for the band’s first studio album as a trio, Nothing, due out on February 28 via Matador Records.
Drummer Tlacael Esparza joined DARKSIDE founders multi-instrumentalist Dave Harrington and electronic musician Nicolas Jaar shortly after the band released their 2021 LP, Spiral. DARKSIDE announced their first album with Esparza, Nothing, early this year following news of their first North American tour in 11 years set for Spring 2025.

The trio previously released two singles from Nothing, “S.N.C.” and “Graucha Max.” They now follow with “Are You Tired? (Keep On Singing).” Press materials detailed the track:
In just under seven minutes, “Are You Tired? (Keep On Singing)” spans almost as many decades. The wind whispers, Harrington’s guitar scythes minimally over Jaar’s falsetto, now slathered in echo and reverb. Then a middle suite sounds almost like a funkier Byrds circa Sweetheart of the Rodeo. It’s followed by a gentle breakdown where agile guitars crack through an ominous Druidic fog. Theoretically, none of this should make sense, but it’s somehow seamless.
