Dark Star Orchestra Sets Plans For 2025-2026 Cosmic New Year’s Eve Run
The Grateful Dead tribute act will bring the celebratory excursion to Portland (Maine), Philadelphia and Port Chester (New York).

Dark Star Orchestra will ring in 2026 with a five-show Cosmic New Year’s Eve Celebration. The run will feature stops in three cities across the Northeast from December 29 through January 3.
The Grateful Dead tribute act will begin the festive excursion with a concert on December 29 at the State Theatre in Portland, Maine. From there, the band heads to Philadelphia for a performance at Franklin Music Hall on December 30.
Dark Star Orchestra will then celebrate New Year’s Eve at The Capitol Theatre and follow with shows on January 2 and 3 at the historic rock palace in Port Chester, New York. Jeff Mattson & Friends will play an acoustic set on December 31 before DSO performs two full sets to welcome 2026.
A Dark Star Orchestra fan club presale starts tomorrow, September 10 at 10 a.m. ET using the code COSMIC. General on-sales for all five shows then begin on Friday, September 12.
