While Grateful Dead tribute act Dark Star Orchestra canceled the 2021 installment of their Dark Star Jubilee festival due to the pandemic, the band will instead present Dark Star Jubilation. The series of two socially distanced pod-style concerts featuring full DSO performances will take place at Legend Valley in Thornville, Ohio May 28 and 29.
Dark Star Orchestra will play two sets each night of the event. Pods will go on sale here this Friday, February 19 at 10 a.m. ET. The pods span eight feet by eight feet with a six-foot buffer on each side and can hold between two and five attendees.
Limited camping will be available. Those holding tickets for Dark Star Jubilee will be automatically refunded. Tickets for Dark Star Jubilation range from $40 – $85 per night per attendee.
