Dark Star Orchestra Announces Summer Tour

Grateful Dead tribute act Dark Star Orchestra will continue their road warrior ways this summer. The band has just detailed a summer tour that focuses on the east but also includes dates in the Midwest and Colorado.

Following a previously announced Spring Tour, DSO will kick off their summer at Park West in Chicago on June 25. From there, the band plays CEFCU Peoria Riverfront on June 26, Crossroads KC in Kansas City on June 28 before heading to Colorado for performances at Mishawaka Amphitheatre in Bellvue on June 30 and Denver’s Ogden Theatre on July 1.

The tour picks back up for a pair of performances at Stateside Amphitheatre in Jay, Vermont July 22 – 23. Then, DSO brings the run to Utica (July 24), Rochester (July 26), New Haven (July 28), Baltimore (July 29), Strausstown (July 30) and the new Coney Island Amphitheatre in Brooklyn (July 31). Dark Star Orchestra’s August shows include concerts in Charlotte (August 2), Chesterfield (August 4), Black Mountain (August 5 & 6), Dewey Beach (August 8 & 9), an appearance at Scranton’s Peach Music Festival (August 11), West Windsor (August 12), Webster (August 13) and Portland, Maine (August 14).
