Daniel Donato’s ‘Reflector’ Blazes Bright On ‘Jam In The Van’

Daniel Donato's Cosmic Country packed into the Jam In The Van mobile studio earlier this year during a trip to Austin. The guitarist and his band devoted their 18-minute set to three cuts from their latest studio album, Reflector.

Cosmic Country consists of Donato on guitar, bassist Will “Mustang” McGee, keyboardist Nathan “Sugar Leg” Aronowitz and drummer Will “Bronco” Clark. The 15-track, 66-minute Reflector arrived on November 10, 2023 and marked the guitarist’s sophomore studio album.

The quartet kicked off their Jam In The Van session with the jubilant “Hi-Country,” the album’s second single. Daniel Donato then guided the band through the rollicking “Half Moon Night” before Cosmic Country showed off their genre-defying style on the jam vehicle “Dance In The Desert.”
