Dogs In A Pile performed at the Ardmore Music Hall in Ardmore, Pennsylvania following the Phish concert in Philadelphia on Tuesday. The New Jersey band welcomed Nashville guitarist Daniel Donato for the Jerry Garcia-covered Little Milton song “That’s What Love Will Make You Do.”

Dogs In A Pile — guitarists Jimmy Law and Brian Murray, drummer Joe Babick, bassist Sam Lucid and keyboardist Jeremy Kaplan — got the show underway with “Go Set.” The quintet also included “Today,” “Stranger,” “Blues For Brian,” “4th Of July” and “G Song” in the first half of the show.

Dogs In A Pile would also fit in a cover of Dopapod’s “Trickery,” which came ahead of the Donato guest spot on Little Milton’s “That’s What Love Will Make You Do.” Law led the band through the first couple of verses before turning things over to Donato who reeled off some rocking riffage. Murray would also take a solo before Law and Donato swapped runs. The band then hit the bridge and brought the song home.
