Guitarist Daniel Donato and his Cosmic Country ensemble will perform Bob Dylan‘s landmark Nashville Skyline album in its entirety at the Rhythms on the Rio Music Festival this summer. The three-day event will take place August 2 – 4 in Del Norte, Colorado.

“I’m thrilled to announce we’re recreating one of Nashville’s most profound albums during our trip to the Hi-Country at Rhythms on the Rio Music Festival for a very special full second set following our first set of the day,” the Nashville-based Donato wrote in announcing the tribute on his social feeds. Bob Dylan released Nashville Skyline in 1969. The country-flavored record features such beloved songs as “I Threw It All Away,” “Lay Lady Lay,” “Tonight I’ll Be Staying Here With You” and Dylan’s “Girl From The North Country” duet with Johnny Cash.
