Daniel Donato‘s Cosmic Country were featured on this past weekend’s episode of CBS Saturday Morning. The quartet’s national television debut saw the quartet perform three songs off their latest album, Reflector.
Guitarist Daniel Donato and his bandmates — bassist Will McGee, drummer Will Clark and keyboardist Nathan “Sugar Leg” Aronowitz — showed off the mix of country, psychedelia and rock that has propelled the group to critical acclaim and an ever-expanding fanbase in recent years. The road warriors treated the television audience to Reflector cuts “Weathervane,” “Rose In A Garden” and “Lose Your Mind” for the program’s “Saturday Sessions” series.

The band’s first appearance on national television followed a trip to Mexico for a performance at Widespread Panic’s Panic En La Playa Doce destination event. Daniel Donato and George Porter Jr. sat-in with Widespread Panic last Wednesday night on covers of J.J. Cale’s “Ride Me High” and the Cream-popularized “I’m So Glad.”
