Danger Mouse & MorMor Unveil Hypnotic Collaborative Single ‘Wonder’

Danger Mouse and MorMor teamed up for a new single, “Wonder,” arriving via 30th Century Records. The track was created “spontaneously from scratch during an impromptu studio session,” as per a press release.

“Wonder” marks the first collaboration between renowned producer Danger Mouse (Brian Burton) and Toronto musician MorMor (Seth Zara Nyquist). The latter detailed how the track came into being.

“My relationship with Danger Mouse started when he invited me to meet and play music,” Nyquist recalled. “From time to time we’d hang out and listen to records or watch films; not necessarily making music – I think we were both seeing if we could find an intersection where it’d make sense to pursue an idea. ‘Wonder’ came from exactly that.”

The hypnotic “Wonder” carries an undercurrent of Danger Mouse’s signature soul stylings topped with swelling synths and MorMor’s dreamy vocals. Listen below:
