Cyndi Lauper Announces Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour 2024

Cyndi Lauper will embark on the 2024 Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour across North America this fall. The 23-date headlining tour is Lauper’s first in more than a decade.

Cyndi Lauper’s Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour will kick off with two shows in Canada on October 18 in Montreal and on October 20 in Toronto. On October 24, she will be performing in Detroit. Lauper will then take the stage in Boston on October 26. The next stop will be in Washington D.C. on October 27. New York City will host her hometown performance at Madison Square Garden on October 30.

In November, Lauper will perform in Nashville on November 1, followed by a show in Columbus, Ohio on November 3. The tour then heads to Florida for concerts on November 6 in Tampa and on November 8 in Hollywood. Lauper’s farewell run moves on to Atlanta on November 10.

Three shows in Texas start with Dallas on November 12, followed by Austin on November 14 and Houston on November 16. The tour continues west to Phoenix on November 19.

A run through California begins on November 20 in San Diego. Los Angeles will then host Lauper on November 23, and Palm Desert on November 24. San Francisco will be the next stop on November 26.

Lauper will perform in Portland, Oregon on November 30, followed by a show in Seattle on December 1. The last sprint of the tour will include stops in Minneapolis on December 4 and a final farewell show in Chicago on December 5. Special guests joining Lauper’s Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour will be announced at a later date.

An artist pre-sale for tickets begins on Tuesday, June 4. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, June 7 at 10 a.m. local time.

The Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour announcement coincides with the release of the feature-length documentary film Let The Canary Sing which chronicles Lauper’s life and career. The documentary premieres exclusively on Paramount+ tomorrow, Tuesday, June 4.
