Hear Cut Chemist Remix Dumpstaphunk’s ‘Justice 2020’ Featuring Trombone Shorty & Chali 2na

Dumpstaphunk shared a Cut Chemist remix of their song, “Justice 2020.” The track features Trombone Shorty and Chali 2na and the remix sees contributions from Grammy-winning mixer Andy Kravitz and Fishbone bassist Norwood Fisher.

Ivan Neville and Dumpstaphunk released “Justice 2020” last October and The New York Times recently included the song in their “Top Songs of 2020” list. The track is set to land on Dumpstaphunk’s upcoming album, Where Do We Go From Here (their first full-length in seven years), set for release on April 23 via Mascot Label Group/The Funk Garage.

Renowned turntablist Cut Chemist (Lucas MacFadden), who is perhaps best known for his work with the hip group Jurassic 5, of which “Justice 2020” featured artist Chali 2na is a member, added an old-school hip hop flavor to “Justice 2020.” Listen to the remix below:
