Creepy Nuts shared an official music video for their song “Mirage.” The track currently serves as the theme to season two of the anime series, Call Of The Night.

Creepy Nuts, which is made up of DJ Matsunaga and R-Shitei, previously provided the Call Of The Night first season theme song, “Daten.” The pair’s song, “Yofukashi no Uta,” was the season one closing theme and their track “Lost Time” was also used by the series.

According to Crunchyroll, R-Shitei described Creepy Nuts’ contributions to Call Of The Night, stating:

“Season 1 depicted the dried kindness of the night and its aspect as a refuge for those who were saved by it. In contrast, Season 2 depicts the dampness of the night, and its aspect as a place where people dump their regrets and attachments. And the adults who struggle to come to terms with it.

“As a person who has been staying up late for 20 years, I can’t help but think of it as someone else’s problem… I have been thinking that I have to live in the morning and afternoon, I have to cut ties with it, but I can’t… This song is about such a messy relationship between myself and the night.”

Creepy Nuts have 2025 Tour dates planned in their native Japan and across Asia in the coming weeks and months. Watch the video for “Mirage” and scroll further down for tour dates and ticketing links.
