Creedence Clearwater Revival Announces ‘The Complete Studio Albums’ Box Set

Creedence Clearwater Revival will celebrate their 50th anniversary with the release of a massive vinyl box set via Craft Recordings on November 30. Creedence Clearwater Revival The Complete Studio Albums collects all seven of the iconic San Francisco act’s studio albums — Creedence Clearwater Revival, Bayou Country, Green River, Willy And The Poor Boys, Cosmo’s Factory, Pendulum and Mardi Gras — which have been mastered at half-speed at Abbey Road Studios.

Abbey Road Studios engineer Miles Showell oversaw the engineering process in which the high-res transfers of the original analog tapes are played back at half-speed that as per a press release, “allows for an exceptional level of sonic clarity and punch, bringing these classic recordings a new vibrancy.” The deluxe 180-gram vinyl set comes “housed in handsome tip-on jackets replicating the packaging of the original pressings” and includes an “80-page book featuring new liner notes from music journalist Roy Trakin, archival photos and reproductions of band ephemera.” Watch a short unboxing video of Creedence Clearwater Revival The Complete Studio Albums below:
