On Friday night moe.’s already eventful fall tour moved on to the Electric Factory in Philadelphia, where Brooklyn soul act Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds opened up the festivities. The two bands collaborated on a riveting, horn-driven version of “The Weight” by The Band that ended moe.’s first set.

The moe./Dirty Birds action started six songs into moe.’s first set, when Sister Sparrow harmonica wiz Jackson Kincheloe emerged to guest on “St. Augustine.” Jackon’s sister Arleigh, brother Bram and the rest of the Dirty Birds came out after “St. Augustine” to help out on “The Weight.” Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds have posted video of the entire “The Weight”:
