Cover Alert | Finnish Roots Act Covers AC/DC’s Thunderstruck

Earlier this year we told you about a stellar, unconventional rendition of AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck” performed by Croatian cellists Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser, aka 2CELLOS. Apparently those abroad love their unusual “Thunderstruck” covers as today we want to hip you to a version of the classic rock staple from Finland’s Steve ‘N’ Seagulls that’s unlike any we’ve heard or seen before.

Steve ‘N’ Seagull emulates the finger-tapping guitar intro of the song using a banjo and complete their take on “Thunderstuck” with the unusual instrumentation of upright bass, spoons, bass and snare drums, accordion and mandolin. We also love the scene they set in the middle of a farm. Take a look:
