Courtney Barnett Announces ‘From Where I’m Standing’ Livestream

Courtney Barnett will assemble her full band for the From Where I’m Standing: Live From The Royal Exhibition Building, Melbourne livestream concert. The event airs throughout the day on Thursday, December 17 with five start times planned for different audiences across the world, including 8 p.m. ET and PT. From Where I’m Standing is available for pre-order via Dice.FM.

The livestream originates from the landmark Royal Exhibition Building in Courtney’s hometown of Melbourne, Australia. Barnett will be backed by longtime band mates bassist Bones Sloane and drummer Dave Mudie as well as the group’s latest addition — cellist Lucy Waldron. The band last performed publicly in January.

“I’m so excited to play with my band again, for the first time in nearly a year! Gonna play some old songs and some brand new ones,” Courtney said in a statement. “It’ll be a special little show in an incredible huge space.”
