Despite rumors of a cancellation, the 2015 CounterPoint Music and Arts Festival will indeed take place the weekend of May 22 -24 in Kingston Downs, Georgia according to a post from organizers on CounterPoint’s Facebook page. Artists slated to appear include headliners Widespread Panic, Zedd and The Roots. Umphrey’s McGee, Dillon Francis, Zeds Dead, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Rebelution, Lettuce and Galactic are among other acts on the CounterPoint lineup.

Here’s the statement from the festival’s organizers:

Despite the rumors, we are happy to report that CounterPoint Music Festival will not be cancelled and will take place over Memorial Day Weekend (May 22-24, 2015) as scheduled.

But that’s not all, we still have plenty more exciting additions to the #CP15 experience (including additional talent!) so stay tuned, grab your friends, and meet us at Kingston Downs for the party of the spring!

CounterPoint passes are on sale now via the festival’s website. Check out the CounterPoint entry in our newly redesigned JamBase Festival Guide.
