Guitarist Cory Wong shared pro-shot video from his sold-out concert at Brooklyn Steel in New York City on February 4, 2022. The footage includes guest spots from opener Sierra Hull and Wong’s Vulfpeck collaborator Antwaun Stanley.
Cory Wong previously shared video of a 14-minute “Meditation” from the Brooklyn Steel play, which is included in the extended video. The guitarist and his band The Wongnotes — drummer Petar Janjic, bassist Sonny T and percussionist Nêgah Santos as well as a horn section of Eddie Barbash, Kenni Holmen, Sam Greenfield, Jay Webb and Michael Nelson — also delivered “Smooth Move,” “Brooklyn Bop,” “Airplane Mode” and “Lilypad.”
Mandolinist Sierra Hull joins Cory and company on “Somewhere Over The Mountain” while vocalist Antwaun Stanley guests on “United.” The video also contains backstage footage.
