Consider the Source Details March Tour Dates & Drops Live Album

Consider the Source announced tour dates set for March 2023 dubbed The Heat Is On Tour in celebration of the success around the band’s hot sauce, Consider The Sauce. The instrumental prog-rockers also put out a new live album, F**k It! We’ll Do It Live – Volume 4: Hybrid Style.

Hybrid Style documents the trio’s concert at Buffalo Iron Works in Buffalo, New York on July 22, 2022 on their recent Acoustic/Electric Hybrid Tour around the 2021 studio album, Hybrid Vol. 1: Such As A Mule, which saw the band utilizing acoustic instruments from around the world and a subsequent tour that featured similar performances.

“This was the first tour we ever tried with seated audiences and traveling with our acoustic instruments,” CTS stated. “It was something we’ve wanted to do for a long time and each night was truly special. We’re proud to have it officially documented for now and hope to do it again in the future.”

Consider The Source’s latest trek, The Heat Is On Tour, comes in honor of their Consider The Sauce hot sauce, created by Michigan’s Lost Capital Foods. 1,250 bottles of the original Green Chile Saison as well as an Xtra Hot Edition have been sold to date.

“To be completely honest, at this point we’re selling more hot sauce than any of our music based products,” CTS drummer Jeff Mann said. “We thought about packing up the music thing to focus on our sauce game but decided we can still do both. We’re calling this Tour “The Heat Is On” after our song “The H Is O” to celebrate how successful our sauces with Lost Capital have been. It’s really more of a hot sauce tour than a music tour but we’ll be up on stage with our instruments each night doing our thing. We hope you can come catch a show but we’ll know why you’re really there.”

The Heat Is On Tour gets underway on March 9 in Greenfield, Massachusetts. Consider The Source will then hit Bridgeport, Connecticut and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania the following evenings.

On March 23, CTS heads to Washington D.C. before hopping over to Columbus, Ohio on March 25. Chicago is on the itinerary for March 30 ahead of an engagement in Ferndale, Michigan on March 31. CTS wraps The Heat Is On Tour on April 1 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
