Comatopia Announces 2017 All-Star Late Night Performance & Kids Area

Bay Area string band The Brothers Comatose will headline and host their Comatopia festival at Bandit Town USA in North Fork, California on August 11 – 13. The band and organizers (((folkYEAH!))) have detailed a special all-star late night set as well as activities in the event’s Kids Area.

Added to the lineup is a Saturday late night performance billed as The Living Room Music Party. Participants include The Brothers Comatose mandolin player Ryan Avellone, The Coffis Brothers keyboardist Jamie Coffis, John Courage guitarist John Courage and drummer Jared Maddox with Gio Benedetti playing bass.

Along with The Brothers Comatose and the late night set, Comatopia 2017’s lineup also includes The Sam Chase & The Untraditional, Hillstomp, John Craigie, Willy Tea Taylor, Rainbow Girls, Marty O’Reilly & The Old Soul Orchestra, Crow & The Canyon, Ismay, John Courage and The Brothers Comatose’s punky-tonk side project Buck Wild & The Boss Bossers.

One-of-a kind late 1800’s-inspired concert venue Bandit Town USA will also provide attendees onsite camping, drinks at the saloon, a wedding chapel, nearby swimming holes and hot springs. The shaded Kids Area will present a variety of projects, activity materials, workshops and performances, such as The Brothers Comatose bassist Gio Benedetti and his wife Jen appearing with their family-friendly band Benedettiville.
