The 2018 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival will be held at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California on April 13 – 15 and April 20 – 22. If you can’t make it to the first weekend of the annual event, there’s an option to watch select sets for free from home or wherever you have access to the internet.
Coachella will provide a free webcast of this year’s first weekend via its official YouTube channel. Coachella’s YouTube channel will livestream performances by Beyoncé, Jamiroquai, The War On Drugs, alt-J, The Weeknd, Portugal. The Man, St. Vincent, First Aid Kit, Chromeo, Kamasi Washington, Haim and several additional performances as well.
A total of four livestream feeds will be presented on the Coachella YouTube channel, including a VR180 channel compatible with immersive viewers such as Google Cardboard and Daydream View. KCRW’s Jason Bentley and co-hosts Nadeska Alexis, Valerie Lee and Brittany Eustis will conduct artist interviews and the webcast will also offer a video-on-demand section of archived sets.
Full details on additional artist livestreams will be announced in the future.
