Club d’Elf Releases Fire In The Brain – Live At Berklee

Moroccan-drenched dub-jazz ensemble Club d’Elf have released a live album today taped in the group’s home base of Boston. Fire In The Brain (Live At Berklee) was recorded in July 2012 before a capacity crowd at the Berklee College Of Music’s Red Room. The 8-track album is available for purchase via iTunes.

On Fire In The Brain, Club d’Elf bassist/composer Mike Rivard is joined by David Tronzo, Randy Roos, Alain Mallet, Mister Rourke and Dean Johnston. The album has strong ties to Berklee as not only was it recorded at the acclaimed school, but Tronzo, Roos and Mallet are Berklee faculty members while Rivard and Johnston are alumni. Club d’Elf will celebrate the release of Fire In The Brain with a show at the Lizard Lounge in Cambridge, MA on November 29.
