Clairo (singer-songwriter Claire Cottrill) brought “Juna” from her recently released Charm album to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon stage on Wednesday. Cottrill enlisted trumpeter Dave Guy and saxophonist Ian Hendrickson-Smith of Fallon house band The Roots to augment her own ensemble featuring keyboardist Marco Benevento.

The performance came on the same day Clairo announced her 2024 North American Fall tour dates. Clairo’s Charm tour will follow September residencies spanning September 27 through November 7.

Charm marks Clairo’s third full length album. Co-produced with Leon Michels, the 11-track effort features contributions from many guests including Dave Guy, Marco Benevento, Homer Steinweiss and Nick Movshon.

Clairo delivered the intimate “Juna” on Fallon last night with Guy replicating his trumpet solo from Charm. The cut is a laid-back number that showcases the artist’s vocal prowess. Host Jimmy Fallon joyously received the performance telling the audience, “That’s how you do it!”
