Chris Thile Covers Radiohead On ‘CBS This Morning’

Chris Thile performed for CBS This Morning’s Saturday Sessions live music video series from The Bridge Studio in Brooklyn. The Punch Brothers frontman and Live From Here host offered up an eclectic trio of tunes with just his mandolin including a relatively new original, a composition by Bach and a Radiohead cover.
The session features Thile on his own number, “Laysong,” featured on a 2018 episode of Live From Here as well as a mandolin rendition of a Bach piece. Thile recorded an album of Bach compositions in 2017. Chris also nods to Radiohead with “True Love Waits,” the closing track from the band’s 2016 album, A Moon Shaped Pool.” Watch all three performances below:
