Chris Robinson & Guests Perform ‘Oh, The Rain’ In San Francisco

Chris Robinson held a solo concert at The Chapel in San Francisco on Wednesday night. The encore that evening featured a cover of “Oh, The Rain” with the backing support of Mapache and Ben Knight.
According to Crowesbase.org, The Black Crowes only played Blind Willie Johnson’s “Oh, The Rain” twice, once in 2006 and again in 2010. The song was covered an additional time in 2006 during a Chris Robinson and Rich Robinson performance.
Wednesday’s first of two shows at The Chapel ended with Chris Robinson leading an acoustic arrangement of “Oh, The Rain” with the backing of Mapache and Ben Knight. Captured by nowiknowuryder, watch the collaboration below:
