Chris Robinson Brotherhood Show In Charlottesville Postponed Due To Civil Unrest

Virginia’s Governor has declared an emergency due to violence that has broken out in Charlottesville. CNN reports one person was killed and 19 have been injured at a white nationalist rally in the Virginia city. The Chris Robinson Brotherhood was scheduled to perform at Charlottesville’s Jefferson Theater, but the band has decided to postpone the concert until October 8.

“Due to the civil unrest in Charlottesville, tonight’s Chris Robinson Brotherhood show is being rescheduled to Sunday Oct 8. All tickets will be honored for the new date. Public safety is paramount and we cannot offer assurance to that end. Refunds are available at point of purchase,” reads a note on the CRB’s Facebook page. The band went on add, “Hate will never prevail. Sorry tonight’s show has been cancelled. See you in October. Be careful. Any way you love, we know how you feel…”
