The Chris Robinson Brotherhood ended a lengthy Fall Tour and played their last shows of the year, outside of a New Year’s Run at Terrapin Crossroads, on Saturday night at The Fonda Theatre in Hollywood. Chris Robinson and his band brought the concert to a close with their recently debuted groovy take on “Rock & Roll” by The Velvet Underground.
It’s been quite a year for The CRB who not only put out a full-length album, but also issued an EP in addition to hitting the road incredibly hard. The band still has plenty of new material in store as they are expected to head back into the studio in early 2017. On Saturday night the Brotherhood treated fans in L.A. to a show heavy on material debuted within the past few years as well as a handful of choice covers. One such cover was “Rock & Roll,” which the band first played at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester on November 19 and played again two more times ahead of the tour-closing encore.
