Chris Jericho’s Metal Band Fozzy Plots 25th Anniversary Tour

Fozzy will begin to celebrate their 25th anniversary this fall with a U.S. headlining tour featuring support from The Nocturnal Affair and Clozure. The metal band fronted by professional wrestler Chris Jericho hits the road October 3 – 21 for 15 dates across the East Coast and in the Midwest.

Chris Jericho and founding lead guitarist Rich Ward are joined in the current Fozzy lineup by bassist P.J. Farley, second guitarist Billy Grey and drummer Grant Brooks. The band’s last album, Boombox, came out in 2022.

Fozzy’s 25th Anniversary Tour starts in Woodstock, Georgia on October 3. The quintet will swing through Florida next before bringing the trek to Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania and New York. It’s then off to the Midwest for shows in Columbus and Flint (Michigan) leading up to the tour closer in Cleveland on October 21.

“It’s hard to believe that a band that was once accused of being a ‘wrestler’s vanity project,’ has now amassed six Top 10 Mainstream Rock Radio hits, released eight albums, toured the world in over 20 countries, and earned a GOLD RECORD…..but we have and we’ve been doing it for 25 YEARS,” stated Jericho in a press release heralding the tour.

“Not many bands can say that, and out of the ones that can, not many of those can say they are currently at their creative, artistic, and commercial peaks,” Jericho added. “Yet Fozzy can and we are damn proud of it! That’s why we are so excited to bring our 25th anniversary celebration to your city over the next 18 months, starting in October. We have built a reputation of being a band you don’t wanna miss, and we take great pride in that because it’s the truth!”
