ChillFam All-Stars: Prince Bowie & Dead Sessions Announce Phish SPAC After-Parties

Chillfam All-Stars and Dead Sessions will each play after-parties at Putnam Place in Saratoga Springs, New York following Phish‘s performances at the nearby Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) on July 2 and 3 respectively.

The Prince and David Bowie tribute featuring ChillFam Allstars will be put together by Pink Talking Fish bassist Eric Gould. He first assembled the ChillFam Allstars for sets honoring Herbie Hancock and Michael Jackson at the now-defunct Catskill Chill Music Festival. The concert in Saratoga Springs on July 2 will also feature Gould’s Pink Talking Fish band mates guitarist Cal Kehoe and keyboardist Richard James as well as trombonist Natalie Cressman, trumpeter Carl Gerhard, drummers Nikki Glaspie and Adrian Tramontano and saxophonists Matt Wayne and Shannon Lynch.

Grateful Dead tribute act Dead Sessions continue a tradition of Phish SPAC late-nights on July 3. The band was formed in 1998 and are based out of Burlington. Tickets for both concerts, which are each scheduled to start around midnight, are available now via Ticketbud (July 2, July 3).
