Chicano Batman Announces Fall Tour With Khruangbin

Los Angeles-based Chicano Batman has detailed their 2017 Fall Tour schedule. The four-piece will be joined by Houston-based trio Khruangbin this October and November.

Chicano Batman is touring in support of their Freedom Is Free LP, which was released by ATO in March. The group will play two sold-out shows at The Fonda Theatre in L.A. on September 22 and 23 before teaming with Khruangbin to embark on their Fall Tour in Toronto on October 1.

The two bands will also appear together in Ohio, Washington D.C., New York, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Georgia, Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, California and Oregon, wrapping in Portland at the Wonder Ballroom on November 17. Chicago Batman will also appear at several festivals around the U.S., including FYF, Newport Folk Festival, XPoNential Fest, Bumbershoot and Voodoo Music + Arts Experience.

KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic will welcome Chicano Batman for an in-studio live session this Friday, June 16.
