Lorde & Addison Rae Join Charli XCX & Troye Sivan At Madison Square Garden

Charli XCX and Troye Sivan brought their co-headlining Sweat Tour to a sold-out Madison Square Garden for a joint concert on Monday night. Charli XCX tapped recent collaborators Lorde and Addison Rae for surprise guest appearances.

Addison Rae’s unexpected visit to the MSG stage featured the TikTok star’s new song “Diet Pepsi,” which was the recently released single’s first public performance. Rae stuck around to add her part to the A. G. Cook remix of Charli XCX’s song “Von Dutch.”

Charli XCX then brought out Lorde to perform her contribution to the recently released remix, “Girl, so confusing featuring lorde.” The original track, “Girl, so confusing,” appeared on Charli XCX’s 2024 album, Brat, and included lyrics that summoned a response from Lorde, resulting in the reworked single. Monday at MSG marked the first public of the remixed song by Lorde and Charli XCX.

Earlier in the evening, Sweat Tour opening act Shygirl joined Charli XCX on the remix of the Brat track “365.” Charli XCX is set to release a remix version of Brat entitled Brat and it’s completely different but also still brat on October 11.
