Charley Crockett followed yesterday’s announcement of the upcoming release of his new album, $10 Cowboy by appearing as the musical guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The Texas native previewed the new record by performing its title track lead single.
Crockett co-produced $10 Cowboy with frequent collaborator Billy Horton. The pending release follows Crockett’s 2022 albums, The Man From Waco and Lil G.L. Presents: Jukebox Charley.

The singer-songwriter will tour North America in 2024 in support of $10 Cowboy, which arrives on April 26 via Son of Davy/Thirty Tigers. Crockett recorded $10 Cowboy live to tape with his bandmates at Arlyn Studios in Austin, Texas.
“The reason I cut it on tape is, when you get the right folks in the room, great players rise to the occasion,” Crockett said. “When that red light is on and the tape is rolling, you get the magic of a performance.”
Cameras were rolling for Crockett’s appearance on last night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. Watch the performance of “$10 Cowboy” below:
